Educational Requirements:
∎ Must have Bachelor and Masters in Statistics, Mathematics, or Data Science from a reputed UGC approved national or international university with decent CGPA in both Bachelor's and Master's examinations.
∎ Any related training or publication will be extra credentials.

Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 6 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Applying statistical tools and techniques for data analysis
∎ Designing and implementing data gathering/management computer systems
∎ Designing and developing app-based survey tools/instruments
∎ Customization of survey application to develop survey tools/instruments
∎ Conducting App-based data collection training and workshop of field enumerators, supervisors and quality control officers
∎ Developing and maintaining database as per required statistical formats
∎ Troubleshooting of survey application and device (tablet and mobile performance)
∎ Data Management (Processing and Analysis): Exceptional ability to interpret data and analyze trends, as well as preparing outlooks and forecasts on the survey subject
∎ Using statistics to make forecasts and to provide projected figures
∎ Keen attention to detail and excellent recordkeeping skills
∎ Ability to interpret analyzed data for reporting
∎ Conveying/presenting/interpreting complex information (based on data analysis) to people in an easily understandable way

Additional Requirements:
∎ Relevant work experience of 3-6 years in research or survey centre/ development organization/ academia/ NGO/ INGO
∎ Technical Job Requirement:
∎ Proficiency in statistical software programs, including SPSS, STATA, R and other equivalents
∎ Advanced knowledge of statistical methods, techniques, formulas, and tests
∎ Experienced in developing Computer-Assisted Personal Interviews (CAPI) model
∎ Practical experience in applying and managing Open Data Kit (ODK), KoBo Toolbox, Akvo Flow app, Survey Solution, CSPro, m-Water, Redcap, Survey CTO, Commcare, etc.
∎ Senior Research Associate-Statistics (Mid-level Position)

Salary:
∎ Starting from BDT 420,000 to BDT 480,000 per annum (first 6 months in probation)
