Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conduct training and work within formal structure
∎ Provide support to colleagues in relation to material, administrative and logistical needs to enable their work efficiently
∎ Conduct Safety Audit to assess safety and security concerns for women and girls in the camp area
∎ Prepare weekly, bi-weekly and monthly report as well for partner and sector related use of HCMP-BRAC
∎ Conducts community consultations to design programme and operation
∎ Develop and implement trainings, workshops for Girl shine for GBV prevention and risk mitigation
∎ Support DPM in tracking the programme quality and making reports
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 18 years

∎ Have knowledge or willingness to learn and challenge oneself and others regarding gender roles, power relationships and gender-based violence
∎ Needs experience and skills in working with leaders and influencers in the community
∎ Patient, persuasive and have the confidence and experience needed to be taken seriously by leaders
∎ Needs to understand community dynamics and how power flows through the community and need to be willing to let the male engagement community groups be in the spotlight
∎ Deep knowledge on Violence against women (VAW) and Male as Ally
∎ Knowledge on basic Gender issues, Girl Shine
∎ Leadership skills and supervisory experience, including the ability to develop team performance
∎ Communication & Coordination Skills
∎ Empathetic and Assertive
∎ Problem-Solving Skills
∎ Familiarity with principles of monitoring & evaluation.
∎ Experience in writing brief narrative reports
∎ Able to work collaboratively with internal staff and external providers
∎ Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel
