Educational Requirements:
∎ Master's Degree, preferably in Social Sciences or relevant discipline. Having degree in Public Health will get preference

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 4 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Senior Project Officer is one of the key members of the project and will be responsible for implementation of all project activities at upazila, union and community level in Cox's Bazar district.
∎ S/he will maintain well communication with local Health & Family Planning department, Local Government and other relevant stakeholders in upazila.
∎ S/he will also provide support and guideline to the implementing partners, ensure management and implementation of field level activities, ensure progress of activities, collection of reports.
∎ Responsibilities include, s/he will ensure and coordinate facility-strengthening activities as per standard guideline, provide technical assistance on routine technical logistic procurement planning, distribution and stock management of the Government and ensure upazila level different meetings having project progress reports to analyse and take necessary actions as required.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 4 years working experience (preferably health program) in national or international organizations including field implementation experience.
∎ Demonstrable experience in working closely with the government agencies, experience with Ministry of Health and Family Welfare strongly preferred
∎ Working experience with Local Government
∎ Strong supervision and management skills
∎ Budget management experience
∎ Proficiency on computer using, MS Office
∎ Ability to manage a complex and diverse workload and to work to tight deadlines
