PURPOSE:
To ensure quality control throughout the garment production process by conducting fabric and finished-product inspections, ensuring compliance with buyer requirements and quality standards, and supporting continuous improvement in production quality.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct quality inspections of raw materials, fabrics, in-process production, and finished garments.
Ensure garments comply with approved samples, buyer specifications, measurements, and quality standards.
Monitor production processes to identify and prevent quality issues at different stages.
Identify, record, and analyze defects and ensure timely corrective actions.
Conduct final quality inspections before products are dispatched or delivered to buyers.
Maintain accurate quality inspection reports, records, and documentation.
Coordinate with production and relevant teams to resolve quality-related issues.
Provide guidance and on-the-job coaching to production staff on quality standards and defect prevention.
Monitor compliance with quality control procedures and recommend improvements to enhance product quality.
Review buyer feedback and ensure necessary corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organization and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the program’s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
