Job Purpose:

Update all sanitary plumbing services, water supply (drinking and domestic water), civil maintenance, and repair and renovation work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Check washroom fittings every morning and evening and prepare a list.

• Ensure all civil work according to the instructions of the supervisor.

• Ensure regular cleaning and maintenance of water tanks and filters, including timely replacement where required.

• Carry out repair and maintenance of glass doors, sliding doors, windows, drawer locks, door handles, and glass locks.

• Ensure uninterrupted water supply and address related maintenance at the BRAC center

• Execute plumbing works based on approved requisitions and maintenance requirements.

• Operate, inspect, and ensure proper maintenance of various types of water pumps.

• Maintain accurate records and documentation of all maintenance activities and completed works.

Safeguarding Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation, and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation, including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.

• Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action. 

• Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.

Additional Requirements:

• Skill in plumbing work.

• Skill in water pump operation.

• Knowledge of plumbing work.

• Knowledge of civil Maintenance work.

• Ability to work in complex projects and Ability to handle pressure.

Educational Requirement:

CLASS VIII Pass

Experience Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of working experience in plumbing work.
