JOB PURPOSE
The position is responsible for achieving quality training outcomes through structured lesson planning, practical demonstrations, competency-based assessment, learner progress monitoring, and continuous improvement of training materials, resulting in competent, disciplined, and job-ready graduates who meet industry standards and workplace requirements.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Deliver training on food preparation, cooking methods, menu planning, and beverage service.
Guide learners through hands-on cooking techniques, food decoration, presentation, and practical culinary skills.
Develop and regularly update competency-based training modules and necessary teaching-learning materials.
Prepare and maintain subject-wise syllabi and course curricula, session and lesson plans, and trainee progress charts and logbooks to ensure effective delivery, monitoring, and documentation of training activities.
Organize and conduct Competency-Based Assessments (CBA), including formative and summative assessments.
Monitor learner attendance, punctuality, training completion, classroom participation, and discipline.
Maintain effective classroom and training management, ensuring accountability, transparency, and a professional learning environment.
Demonstrate professionalism in attitude, conduct, and behavior while adhering to BRAC values, SDP Decent Work principles, and Social Inclusion guidelines.
Deliver training on food preparation, cooking methods, menu planning, and beverage service.
SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
