Preference will be given to candidates with:

- Relevant work experience as an instructor in Food & Beverage Service or a related hospitality sector.

- BNQF/NTVQF certification in Food & Beverage Service.

- Experience delivering competency-based technical training.

- Experience working with marginalized communities in Bangladesh.

- Experience promoting Gender Equality and Social Inclusion.

- Proficiency in computer office applications and Internet browsing.



Responsibilities & Context:
  • Deliver theoretical and practical Food and Beverage Service training according to the approved National Technical and Vocational Qualification Framework (NTVQF) Level 2 curriculum, competency standards, and training schedule.

  • Conduct practical training and demonstrations on restaurant service, banquet service, buffet service, café service, room service, beverage service, table setting, preparation of the service area, order taking, billing, and guest handling.

  • Train participants on food safety, personal hygiene, sanitation, occupational safety, fire safety, hazard identification, and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and service equipment.

  • Develop trainees' skills in professional communication, hospitality etiquette, customer service, complaint handling, teamwork, workplace ethics, grooming, and professional conduct.

  • Prepare trainees for National Skills Development Authority (NSDA) and Bangladesh National Qualifications Framework (BNQF) competency-based assessments through mock assessments, practical exercises, role plays, quizzes, and regular competency evaluations.

  • Develop lesson plans, course syllabi, presentations, training videos, practical job sheets, handouts, assessment tools, examination materials, and training reports in line with BRAC and National Skills Development Authority (NSDA) requirements.

  • Monitor trainee attendance, progress, discipline, practical performance, and competency achievement; maintain training facilities and equipment; conduct Taroworks surveys and data entry; and support job placement and employability activities.
