· NEBOSH certification will be given strong preference.· Relevant academic or professional qualification in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Health, Industrial Safety, or a related discipline is preferred.· Practical experience in workplace, industrial, warehouse, transport, logistics, fleet, or operational safety supervision will be an advantage.· Sound knowledge of HSE principles, hazard identification, risk assessment, incident prevention, and corrective/preventive actions.· Ability to conduct regular site inspections, identify unsafe acts and conditions, and recommend appropriate corrective measures.· Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide safety instructions and coordinate effectively with operational employees and management.· Strong observation, analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and reporting capabilities.· Must be proactive, responsible, safety-conscious, and capable of taking immediate action when unsafe conditions are identified.· Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with operations, transport, warehouse, fleet, HR, and other relevant teams.
· Conduct regular safety inspections and monitoring of operational areas.
· Identify hazards, unsafe conditions, and unsafe practices and ensure timely corrective actions.
· Monitor compliance with established HSE policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
· Supervise and promote proper use of PPE and safe working practices.
· Conduct/support toolbox talks, safety briefings, and awareness activities.
· Report and support the investigation of incidents, near misses, and safety observations.
· Maintain safety inspection records, reports, and compliance documentation.
· Follow up on corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) until closure.
· Work closely with operational teams to strengthen the organization's safety culture and field-level compliance.
