Educational Requirements:
∎ Master's Degree, preferably in Social Sciences or relevant discipline

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Senior Project Officer is responsible for providing technical support, strategic guidance to partner NGOs for smooth implementation of the project activities by establishing and maintaining relationships with key National/local level stakeholders.
∎ S/he will provide monitoring support to all project activities and generate report on progress to the Project Manager on a regular basis.
∎ S/he will facilitate/co-facilitate capacity building activity for partner staffs on resilience, PDEP and different Training of Trainers (ToT) and provide support to the team to roll out MEAL, COMPASS, etc. and utilize of M&E data and research findings.
∎ The Senior Officer will organize meetings and workshops with city corporation officials, relevant ministry officials to include CABA and CWDs in social protection scheme, develop UN minimum standard of care by developing/revising tools/formats for maintaining minimum standards and provide technical support to partners NGO in advocating and influencing initiatives at local level.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 4 years of work experience within a development NGO or an INGO, particularly in Child Protection focused projects specially children infected/affected by AIDS (CABA) and children with disabilities (CWDs).
∎ Experience in organizing and providing training.
∎ Experience in managing and working with partner NGOs.
∎ Basic knowledge in child rights and child protection issues in Bangladesh
∎ Planning and organising skills with experience in financial management
∎ Proficiency in MS Office
