Experience:
Graduation / Post Graduation in Social Science/ Economics/ Management/ Marketing/ Public Administration/ Political Science/ Business Administration or any other relevant subject from any reputed university or institute.
Knowledge:
Knowledge of working in Camp
Knowledge and experience of dealing with RRRC, CiC, UNO and other Government Officials.
Knowledge of public relations and effective communication.
Skill:
Have excellent writing, reporting, and analytical skills.
Have excellent knowledge and skill in Office applications (MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel).
Have excellent typing skill both in Bengali and English.
Hold positive approach and empathy for learners with disabilities.

This position will supervise the Disability Support Volunteers (DSV) and the accessibility and quality education of learners with disabilities. This position will identify risks of learners with disabilities as well as the challenges of DSV proactively and collaborate with field operation team. This position will be the assist Technical Specialist to ensure the overall management and implementation of Disability Inclusion, related community engagement, documentation, related administrative issues of the programme and Coordinate with relevant authorities/ donors/ stakeholders as per Project needs.
Identify and assess the specific needs and barriers faced by children and adults with disabilities in accessing education.
Collect and maintain data related to disability demographics and their educational needs.
Contribute to the development of policies and strategies that promote disability inclusion in the education project.
Ensure that all policies, practices, and materials are accessible and sensitive to the needs of individuals with disabilities.
Train and educate teachers, staff, and volunteers on inclusive teaching methods and strategies to support learners with disabilities.
Empower families and communities to provide support and advocacy for individuals with disabilities.
Work with the organization's teams to make educational materials, facilities, and resources accessible for learners with disabilities.
Ensure that necessary assistive devices and technologies are available and used effectively.
Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities, in consultation with educators, parents, and relevant experts.
Monitor the progress of individuals with disabilities and provide necessary support and adjustments.
Collaborate with relevant stakeholders, including local NGOs, government agencies, and international partners, to strengthen disability inclusion efforts.
Organize and participate in coordination meetings and working groups related to disability inclusion in education.
Regularly assess and evaluate the effectiveness of disability inclusion initiatives and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
Report on progress and challenges to project management and donors.
Maintain accurate records and reports related to disability inclusion activities.
Prepare and submit reports to relevant authorities and donors as required.
Safeguarding and PSEA: To meet the program's objectives for safeguarding and PSEA implementation, make sure team members are protected from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation. Serve as a major resource for help, direction, and knowledge on safeguarding for developing a safe workplace. To ensure that safeguarding standards are used in every course of action, team members should practice, advocate, and embrace safeguarding policy concerns.
Safeguarding
Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
