Strong knowledge of international trade practices, incentives, and food export regulations.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in English; additional languages.
Willingness to travel internationally for trade shows, client visits, or market expansion.
Responsibilities & Context:
- Identify and develop new international markets for food product exports by securing new buyer appointments and building long-term business relationships.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with international buyers.
- Prepare and execute export sales plans in line with company objectives.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms with clients abroad.
- Ensure proper export documentation and compliance with food safety/export regulations.
- Coordinate with production, logistics, and accounts team for smooth shipment.
- Conduct market research on demand, competitors, and product trends.
- Achieve monthly and yearly export sales targets.
- Represent the company in international trade fairs and exhibitions
