Education:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Technology
∎ Bachelor’s Degree in Apparel Merchandising, Textile Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
∎ Diploma or training in Merchandising will be an added advantage.

∎ In-depth knowledge of sweater production processes, yarns, and accessories.
∎ Experience in managing large-scale orders and working with international buyers.
∎ Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
∎ Ability to handle multiple orders and meet deadlines under pressure
∎ Proficiency in MS Office and merchandising software
∎ Fluency in English and Bengali (additional foreign language skills preferred)
∎ Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
∎ Industry Experience: Apparel & Textile industry, specifically Sweater Merchandising with knowledge of yarn, accessories, and sweater production processes.
∎ Proven ability to handle multiple orders and meet deadlines under pressure.

∎ As team leader the entire merchandising process, from order acquisition to shipment, ensuring timely delivery.
∎ Develop and maintain strong relationships with buyers, suppliers, and production teams.
∎ Prepare and analyze costing sheets, negotiate prices, and finalize orders with buyers.
∎ Monitor production progress and resolve any issues that arise to meet quality and timeline expectations.
∎ Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure buyer requirements are met.
∎ Source materials and negotiate with suppliers for the best price, quality, and delivery schedule.
∎ Stay updated on market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
∎ Provide regular updates to buyers and management regarding order status and challenges.
