Job Context:
∎ JOB PURPOSE: The overall purpose of this designation is to supervise to indentify, analyze and monitoring the all support department business risk as well as other compliance related risk and to oversee the functionalities of the risk management process and its` effectiveness of the organization. Programme Manager will be responsible to supervise approximately 12 to 15 different functional departments in BRAC.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme`s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Implement risk management framework in different support functions which will include risk measurement, identification, and monitoring the risks
∎ Work across all departments and enterprise levels of the organization to understand cross-functional linkages and interdependencies, as well as the implications of risk at both strategic level and at the operational level
∎ Participate in preparing risk management capacity development training module and suggest proposals for development of the modules
∎ Communicate risk strategy and policies by arranging meetings and seminars on risk management for the beneficiaries and stakeholders
∎ Ability to constructively challenge, consult and advise, whilst maintaining excellent relationships and the respect of senior programme management. Follow-up on Risk Management reports with the concerned department and all enterprise of the BRAC
∎ Prepare quarterly risk management report for the head of risk management and stakeholders
∎ Lead and supervise the different department and enterprise risk team for risk assessment
∎ Establish and quantify the organization's 'risk appetite', i.e. the level of risk they are prepared to accept
∎ Assist in the development of and manage processes to identify and evaluate business areas risks and control self-assessments

Additional Requirements:
∎ Skills in Advance Microsoft Excel
∎ Excellent ability to influence, drive changes and resolve conflicts
∎ Ability to work independently and also in group
∎ Strong skills in analytics and logical reasoning problem solving
∎ Skills in data analysis, report generation and designing, presentation preparing and Bangla typing
∎ Leadership, team building skills and willingness to travel
∎ 7-10 years' of working experience. Experience in development organization/risk management will be an added advantage
