Job Responsibilities:
∎ Save the Children invites applications for the above mentioned position for Strengthening National Midwifery Program (SNMP). This program will focus to enhance provision of equitable and high quality sexual, reproductive health and rights (SRHR) care to women at targeted areas, particularly in host communities of Cox’s Bazar. Qualified women are strongly encouraged to apply. Minimum requirements will be flexible for the potential female candidates.
∎ The role
∎ The Senior Manager- Operations will lead the field implementation and is responsible for providing technical support to field staff to ensure result including the quality. S/he will provide essential management support to the project, which includes proper coordination and advocacy with MoH&FW, MoWCA, MoE, UN Agencies and other development partners for effective implementation of programs. S/he will also contribute to develop annual work plan and budget and ensure that program is implemented in line with work plan and budget. The Senior Manager will develop capacity of the project staff for result-based performance at the field, coordinate with Finance and Grants team to develop the project annual budget, monitor program management indicators, milestones, and systems for tracking progress and also responsible to ensure quality and timely reporting.
∎ Qualifications and experience
∎ * Medical Graduate (MBBS), preferably with MPH (Masters in Public Health) or related field
∎ * At least 7 years of working experience with proven experience in implementation of public health programs of which 3 years in managerial position.
∎ * Demonstrated experience in partnership program with Government, UN agency, development partners
∎ * Working experience on community mobilization related to SRMNH program will be an advantage.
∎ * Sound understanding of health systems and health priorities are required.
∎ * Working experience on community mobilization related to SRMNH program will be an advantage.
∎ * Capacity to coordinate and collaborate effectively with different level of stakeholders
∎ * Excellent communication and team/staff management skills
∎ * Adequate skills on reporting, documentation and presentation in English

∎ Business : The role
The Project Manager-DRR and EiE is mainly responsible for the overall implementation, monitoring, and supervision of EiE and DRR activities in Multi Purpose Cyclone Shelter (MPCS) and adjacent communities. S/he will supervise Project Officer/Senior Project Officer- EiE and DRR to implementation of EiE and DRR interventions and maintain accountability of the project activities following Save the Children and core humanitarian Standard. S/he will also provide support and enhance the capacity of government, partners and respective project staffs, including overall monitor their activities. The incumbent will provide technical inputs into the development, implementation and monitoring of the project and maintain close coordination with Save the Children field unit and collaboration with implementing partners.
Qualifications and experience
* Minimum 6 years of working experience, preferably in Education in Emergency (EiE) response, recovery and rehabilitation including Disaster Risk Reduction, including 3 years in management position.
* Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects related to DRR and EiE for children and young people, with a policy influencing dimension and proven experience on managing large projects.
* Excellent capacity building skill, especially the partners
* Ability to work in any situation during emergency
* Skill on expenditure tracking and monitoring
* Excellent communication skills in English & Bangla with the ability to produce quality analytical reports
* Master’s Degree, preferably in Disaster Management/Development Studies or relevant fields
