∎ At least 12 years’ experience in fashion design, with a proven track record of managing design teams and delivering successful products.
∎ In-depth knowledge of current fashion trends, materials, brand aesthetics, customer preferences, global buying patterns, commercialization, and production processes.
∎ High level proficiency in Design software and tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite.
∎ Both Local and Expatriate applications are invited for the post

∎ Strong creative and design skills, including an excellent eye for detail, color, and style.
∎ Strong project management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Direct design and develop range plan for spring summer and fall winter ranges according to the customer calendar.
∎ Concentrate on upgrading and improving our existing programs, bestsellers, market intelligence and trends.
∎ Guide the graphic team and product team on the right range to propose every season.
∎ Develop the calendar for the key meetings, when to showcase new ideas, research and direction, samples to be developed and when to send to get highest hit rate.
∎ Develop visual display of right trends in each of the above category through best – selling items, competition research, factory research and inspirational brands store picks.
∎ Work closely with Retail, Lifestyle, and Sports for the accuracy of product prototypes and proposals in terms of color fit, wash, details, and on graphic prints etc.
∎ Engage with and work closely with the business team on commercial product positioning of price point brackets of programs.
∎ Manage clear communication between Design and commercial to avoid duplication and miscommunication.
∎ Review design and development as well as source new products and fabrics from factories to add newness in proposals.
∎ Travel regularly for Design meetings as when needed.
∎ Follow customer brand guidelines for design process (logo image, font specs, inspiration brands and calendar)
∎ Present complete concepts (design/fabrics/colors/trims/artworks/samples/price points) to customers for their approval
∎ Conduct weekly meetings to discuss customer-wise running products to gain understanding of future/current requirements to align design activities.
∎ Communicate with customers directly and take ownership in dealings on product and design direction they are moving towards and plan visits as and when required.
∎ Ensure proper presentation approach during customer meetings, from planning the showroom setup, keeping the right products in focus, ensuring creative and inspirational displays delight customers and influence sales.
∎ Strategize on making effective and innovative products to develop business with existing customers as well as incorporate scope for new opportunities.
∎ Send regular trend packages to respective clients with new product information, fabrics, and trends.

∎ The Senior Manager / Manager holds the accountability for strategic spearheading, planning, direction and execution for Design and Development. The incumbent will define the design direction for the fashion season, attend overseas sourcing trips, manage product development, train, and manage a team of fashion designers/product developers.
