Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Commerce (MCom) in Accounting and Finance, Master of Business Administration (MBA) in major in Accounting or Finance
∎ Preferred Professional Certification: CA or CMA Course completed
∎ Training/Trade Course: Training in Auditing
∎ Skills Required: Accounting, Computer skill, Excellent communication skills, Financial Analysis, Financial Reporting, Ms Office

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Computerized financial system (specially in ACCPAC)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ 1. Policy:
∎ To contribute to development/revision of the financial policy of RDRS Bangladesh and the projects if applicable.
∎ 2. Plan/Budget Projection:
∎ Assist Project Accountant to prepare multiyear project budget.
∎ Ensure that all Projects prepare monthly financial forecast/cash flow plan.
∎ 3. Monitoring of Accounting and Book-Keeping:
∎ Track/control expenditure against budget in Projects.
∎ Frequent field visit and monitoring different projects/unit offices and checking the whether the financial activities are properly done as per approved financial policies.
∎ Ensure that the procurement processes are followed and appropriate files are maintained.
∎ 4. Reporting:
∎ Ensure that all project reports are prepared by the Project Accountants correctly and submitted to donor and NGOB in time.
∎ Preparing field monitoring visit report with recommendations and submit to the management from time to time.
∎ Track expenditure against budget, including budget approved by NGOAB.
∎ 5. Audit:
∎ Prepare project for external/internal Audit and attend the requirements of Audit and follow up Audit observation and recommendation submitted to GOB and donors.
∎ Make sure that all audits are done in time and submitted to GOB and donors.
∎ 6. Others:
∎ Any other task that are not mentioned here but may be required in carrying out above tasks or as and when requested by his/her Supervisor

Additional Requirements:
∎ Finance Reporting
∎ Preparation of Accounts.
∎ Financial Analysis
∎ Report writing
∎ Has strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
∎ Proficient in using MS Office and has relevant experience in computerized financial systems (specially ACCPAC) and flexibility to adapt new software applications
∎ Has experience working in development organization
∎ Willingness of frequent (75%) field visit is required for this position

Salary: Tk. 55493 - 105836 (Monthly)
