Responsibilities & Context:

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Manager – Commercial to lead and manage all commercial activities of our RMG factory. The role involves overseeing import-export operations, handling L/C processes, ensuring regulatory compliance, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely shipment execution.

Job Location: Banani, Dhaka

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end commercial operations including import, export, and logistics

  • Handle L/C opening, amendment, negotiation, and banking documentation

  • Prepare and verify export documents (Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, EXP, GSP, etc.)

  • Coordinate with buyers, suppliers, banks, and freight forwarders for smooth shipment execution

  • Monitor import of raw materials (yarn, trims, accessories) and ensure timely clearance

  • Ensure compliance with customs regulations, bonded warehouse procedures, and government policies

  • Maintain liaison with customs authorities and industry bodies (BGMEA, EPB, etc.)

  • Oversee UD (Utilization Declaration), bond license, and related documentation

  • Track shipment schedules and ensure on-time delivery to buyers

  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in commercial documents and shipping issues

  • Monitor freight costs and optimize logistics efficiency

  • Support merchandising and production teams with commercial planning

  • Prepare regular reports on shipment status and commercial performance

  • Lead, train, and supervise the commercial team
