Educational Requirements:
∎ Master's Degree in related subject from a reputed university.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Special preference will be given to candidates with experience in sweater factory.
∎ Strong ENGLISH email & verbal communication with buyers & bank.
∎ Good management of buyers, raw materials suppliers, bank, C&F, transport, shipping line.
∎ Lead, monitor, coordinate & supervise day-to-day import & export activities of Commercial department.
∎ Expert in sweater export & import tasks.
∎ Experience with online platforms for export & online booking system of Buyer/forwarder online portal.
∎ Regularly monitoring & tracking various stages of Export as well as payment follow-up.
∎ Liaison with Bank, REX, Shipping Line, Forwarding Agents and others organization related to export and import documentation.
∎ Monitor & manage L/C related work which includes, corresponding with buyers, opening L/C and its amendment, monitoring, shipment, document retirement formalities and custom clearing, C&F Agent and transport related concern authorities for smooth and timely delivery of goods.
∎ Follow up full life cycle of L/C starting from opening BTB, CM calculation, yarn & accessories delivery to factory, goods handover to forwarder to receive payment & report LC closing statement to management.
∎ Preparing of all export documents as per buyer's requirement and follow up of export independently for buyers.
∎ Oversee, Check & Control PI & other invoices, packing list & other related documents for exporting/importing of goods.
∎ Liaison and coordinate all activities of Customs, Bond, Bond audit, Bonded warehouse, Incentive, EPB, BGMEA, BIDA (BOI), BANK, CUSTOMS HOUSE, VAT, etc.
∎ Ensure managing yearly Customs Audit claims independently.
∎ Carry out assignments on renewal of various licenses, e.g. Bond License, Trade License, ERC, IRC, Fire License, Factory License, Boiler License, Enviromental License etc. before expiry.
∎ Having sound knowledge of Clearing & Forwarding (C&F), Customs Bond rules & regulations etc.
∎ Ensure Collecting Bill Of Lading on time & submitting export documents to forwarding agent or Bank to Bank.
∎ Sound knowledge in Cash incentive process.
∎ Should have Clear knowledge of current rules & regulations of Customs, UCPDC- 600, Incoterms, HS Code, SRO and Inco terms.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 42 years
∎ Minimum 8 years of experience as an assistant commercial manager or commercial manager at a reputed factory.
∎ Should be a good team leader.
