LLB/LLM from a recognized university; enrollment as an Advocate with Bar Council is preferred.
Minimum 8-12 years of experience in legal practice, with strong exposure in banking or financial institutions is preferred.
Demonstrated leadership in handling litigation strategy, legal compliance, and regulatory interface.
Extensive knowledge of the legal frameworks of Bangladesh including banking law, contract law, corporate governance, and mechanisms for dispute resolution.
Strong analytical ability, excellent communication skills, and proven decision-making capacity under complex scenarios
A proven track record of leading a large legal team with demonstrable results is preferred.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage all legal affairs including corporate cases, disputes, and litigation strategies.
Vet contracts, deeds, and legal documents to ensure accuracy, compliance, and minimal legal risk.
Oversee panel lawyer performance, legal case readiness, and efficient litigation support across branches.
Liaise with courts, regulators, and enforcement agencies to protect the Bank`s legal interests.
Guide recovery teams and ensure legally compliant resolution of defaulted loans and asset possession.
Provide legal counsel to Management and Board on complex operational, regulatory, and litigation issues.
Develop legal leadership pipeline and ensure team capacity for managing high-impact legal matters.
