Educational Requirements:

Job Context:
∎ This position will be based at WorldFish`s Country Office in Cox`s Bazaar, Bangladesh.
∎ The successful candidate should be available to commence by June 2019 for an initial two (02) years fixed term contract, with the possibility of contract renewal depending on performance and funding availability.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Finance Functions

∎ Ensure organizational financial systems and processes are followed for all financial transactions.
∎ Submit monthly fund request according to work plan, ensure budgetary control, analyses and financial reporting.
∎ Deal with bank transactions, reconciliations, issue bank cheque, advice and enter transaction in System.
∎ Maintain imprest system petty cash and payment of small expenses day to day and replenishment accordingly.
∎ Monitor IP/organization's grants and financial activate on a regular basis.
∎ Issue project advance, liquidate on time and entry in One Corporate System (OCS) accurately.
∎ Verifying invoice/bills and vouchers as per WorldFish and donor compliance, made payment note, issue VAT coupons and deduct tax at source, made vendors payment and entry in OCS accordingly.
∎ Custodian of cheque book and VAT coupons book.
∎ Support annual audits and meet audit questions costs.
∎ Ensure financial policies, procedures and compliances are followed and implemented properly.
∎ Administration Functions

∎ Perform timely procurement, goods and services, update vendor enlistment regularly. Check bills/invoice and other supporting documents and raise PR in OCS.
∎ Responsible for office safety, security, utilities, vehicle and office cleaning.
∎ Arrange staff accommodation, meeting, training, conference and workshop as and when needed.
∎ Update inventory regularly according to assets hand over and taken over to staffs.
∎ Provide assistance for service contracts/agreements renewal, including vehicle insurance, internet, pond, office, companies etc.
∎ Perform maintenance of vehicle, air conditioning, photocopiers, printers and other equipment as required.
∎ Update and share financial information to senior team and seeks necessary guidance for proper implementation of organizational guidelines.
∎ Assist senior team in preparing annual procurement plan and budget in a correctly and timely manner.
∎ Ensure proper storing of material and equipment and maintain stock register update.
∎ Provided secretarial and admin support to the project team as necessary.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 5 year experiences in INGO/private companies preferably in overall operational functions.
∎ Experience in administration financial, procurement and operational policies and procedures.
∎ Good knowledge in GoB taxation and VAT laws.
∎ Possess good professionalism and excellent interpersonal skills in order to be a valuable team player.
∎ Demonstrated skills in managing partner, partner grant, staff groups and projects or initiatives
∎ Excellent computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Office specifically Excel, Word, Outlook and Power Point.
∎ A demonstrated record of inter-disciplinary, admin, financial, procurement functions and the desire to work in a collaborative environment.
∎ Experience of using accounting software packages is desirable specially ERP software OCS.
∎ Committed and motivated, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Salary:
∎ This is a Nationally Recruited Staff (NRS) position with annual salary ranging between BDT 893,537 to BDT 920,343 per annum.
