Freight Forwarding

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist the department In-charge in growth of the freight forwarding business that increases revenue and aggressively acquire new accounts.
∎ Collaborate with department head in implementing the sales/marketing plans.
∎ Collaborate with customer services to secure market competitive prices for freight.
∎ Identify new business development opportunities that enriches the customer portfolio.
∎ Achieve monthly/quarterly/yearly sales targets as assigned.
∎ Deliver Gross Profit sales volume and yield targets by remaining focus on building positive relationship with customers.
∎ Gain the competitive business intelligence to develop database and share the same within the team members for their future growth.
∎ Ensure daily customer visits and submit the visit report on daily/weekly basis to In-charge.
∎ Co-ordinate actively with customer service/s team to ensure that customers know the contact points in case of service failures.
∎ Ensure identification of sales account needs, opportunities and key buying factors for existing customers and formalize those into an account plan.
∎ Attend various trade shows, work or client social functions and sales meeting to search new potential Business Partner/s.
∎ Arrange credit approval from Management as per company credit policy. Follow up on outstanding dues for prompt clearance.
