Job Context:
∎ Young Consultants (YC) is one of the leading consulting firms in Bangladesh operating since January 1998 with global network. YC is rendering professional services to a broad clientele that includes different government ministries/department/agencies, multinational & private companies. donor agencies like the World Bank Group, JICA, Asian Development Bank, European Commission, USAID, ITC/UNCTAD-WTO, GIZ, KFW, SNV, DANIDA, etc.
∎ YC is looking for a number of Senior Executives for its Operations Team in the area of research & development, financial analysis, accounts and auditing, project management & implementation, energy efficiency & renewable energy, engineering, and business development. Brief job responsibilities and requirements are mentioned below.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop project proposal / EOI /concept note for procurement of consulting services from various international and national prospective clients
∎ Prepare inventory of donor project through browsing websites for projects information and also regular review of procurement notices/tenders published by international and national prospective clients in the daily news papers
∎ Assist in maintaining regular correspondences with international firms for forming association and submission of joint Expression of Interest (EoI) and Proposal
∎ Collecting data and information from the different organizations / fields
∎ Data management, process, analysis and reporting using latest statistical tools
∎ Coordinate and liaise with all related agencies in the government and private sector to facilitate implementation and monitor progress of the development project
∎ Prepare technical notes, concept notes, fact sheets, analysis, reports, communication materials, PowerPoint presentations, etc.
∎ Organize events including meetings, seminars, workshops, focus groups, and produce subsequent reports such as meeting minutes, event reports etc.
∎ Provide all required administrative and logistics support for project implementation
∎ Develop financial modeling for industrial and infrastructure projects
∎ Assist in preparing various reports on consulting/research projects
∎ Maintain finance and account of donor funded projects
∎ Support to conduct audit and financial monitoring
∎ Technical analysis of renewable energy and energy efficiency projects
∎ Project management and implementation
∎ Any other relevant tasks to be assigned
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 28 to 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Candidates should have to be highly motivated and committed to undertake research works
∎ Should have excellent analytical ability - both qualitative and quantitative
∎ Must have sound knowledge in respective fields
∎ Must have excellent writing skills in English
∎ Strong communication and interpersonal skill
∎ High level computer literacy
