Responsibilities & Context:
- Ensure compliance with VAT, Tax, and other regulatory requirements as per government rules.
- Prepare, review, and submit all VAT & Tax returns accurately and within deadlines.
- Maintain proper documentation and records of VAT challans, tax certificates, and related files.
- Assist in annual tax assessments, audits, and queries raised by regulatory authorities.
- Monitor VAT & Tax implications on business transactions and advise management accordingly.
- Support internal and external auditors by providing necessary VAT & Tax-related documents.
- Liaise with local tax authorities and other relevant government offices when required.
- Provide guidance to the accounts team regarding VAT & Tax-related issues.
