Additional Requirements:
Sound understanding of production planning, line balancing, and efficiency improvement techniques
Prior experience in reputed knit garment manufacturing industries Good knowledge of quality control standards, buyer requirements, and compliance regulations
Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced production environment
Effective communication skills
Responsibilities & Context:
Oversee designated production lines to consistently achieve hourly output targets and maximize overall floor efficiency.
Maintain rigorous hourly production logs and performance reports to ensure transparency and accountability.
Coordinate the seamless flow of trims and accessories, ensuring inventory levels align with management requirements to prevent downtime.
Verify and secure Care Label approvals prior to the commencement of new POs, styles, or color runs.
Uphold stringent quality standards by maintaining the designated DHU (Defects Per Hundred Units) threshold.
Strictly enforce Broken Needle Procedures and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all sewing operations.
Provide comprehensive technical briefings and work instructions to supervisors before initiating new tasks, ensuring factory standards are met.
Manage the timely rectification of alterations and maintain "5S" methodology and buyer compliance within the assigned territory.
Prepare and implement SOP of sewing section
