• Strong and demonstrable experience in outerwear merchandising is mandatory.

• Candidates with buying office experience only will not be considered.

• SAP working experience is mandatory.

• Strong technical knowledge of garment manufacturing, product development and production processes.

• Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel and good proficiency in Word and PowerPoint.

• Strong expertise in costing, consumption, cost analysis and commercial evaluation.

• Sound knowledge of fabric and trims development, sourcing and supplier management.

• Strong understanding of washing, embroidery and printing techniques.

• Excellent data analysis, interpretation and reporting skills.

• Strong written English communication skills for professional customer, supplier and internal correspondence.

• Ability to identify potential risks, drive corrective actions and independently ensure timely execution.

• Excellent coordination, organizational and problem-solving skills.

Job Context

Croydon Kowloon Designs Limited (CKDL), a leading garment manufacturing company specializing in high-quality outerwear and technical apparel, is looking for an experienced and results-driven Senior Executive – Merchandising. The successful candidate will independently manage merchandising activities from product development to shipment, ensuring cost efficiency, product quality and timely execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently manage end-to-end product development and production activities from development through shipment.

• Lead garment costing, consumption analysis, cost evaluation and commercial assessment.

• Manage fabric and trims sourcing, material development, supplier coordination and follow-up.

• Coordinate import and export documentation and shipment-related processes.

• Collaborate with sourcing, product development, quality and production teams to ensure smooth execution.

• Evaluate washing, embroidery and printing requirements and their implications for product development and bulk production.

• Analyze merchandising data, identify risks and implement timely corrective actions.

• Monitor critical paths, material availability, production progress and shipment schedules.

• Prepare and maintain accurate reports, costing records and other merchandising documentation.

• Proactively resolve development and production issues through effective coordination and follow-up.
