∎ Purpose:
∎ The prime responsibility of the Senior Executive is to assist the Senior Manager, Finance and Accounts to track and maintain the day-to-day activities of the department.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Issues payments against invoices on time by either cheque or cash. Must ensure all expenses are approved and justified with necessary supporting documents according to IFRC/BYLC's policies and procedures
∎ Prepares the vouchers on the basis of the day to day financial transactions for recording with proper authorization and approval as well as booking them accordingly
∎ Posts and allocates expenses and receipts to Tally (accounting software)
∎ Manages petty cash as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
∎ Supports monthly, quarterly, half yearly and year-end closing procedures
∎ Assists in preparing and processing cash forecast for delegation in a timely manner
∎ Maintains all financial documents
∎ Assists in identifying variances in actual expenditure and the budget
∎ Assists with auditing expenses, checking financial documents, invoices, etc. to ensure adequate documentation, coding, and reporting of financial transactions
∎ Prepares monthly financial reports
∎ Ensures VAT and tax deductions are compliant with Government rules and regulations
∎ Monitors compliance with BYLC's and donor requirements, rules and regulations
∎ Provides support to complete internal & external audit
∎ Maintains bank accounts and banking affairs
∎ Performs any other work-related duties assigned by the line manager

Additional Requirements:
∎ 2 years of experience in a relevant field
∎ Skills:
∎ Experience in a finance role
∎ Proficient in using Tally Accounting software
∎ Proficient in using Microsoft Excel
∎ Solid communication skills
∎ Superior attention to detail
