  • Minimum 6-8 years of relevant experience in Industrial Relations and Administration preferably in a multinational or large manufacturing environment

  • Strong knowledge of Bangladesh Labor Law, compliance requirements, and industrial negotiation practices

Technical Skills

  • Strong administrative and financial management capabilities with analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills

  • Proactive and collaborative attitude with ability to work effectively under pressure

  • Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional tasks and manage multiple stakeholders

IT Skills

  • Experienced in use of Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point.

Responsibilities & Context:

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement employee relations and administration strategies in line with company and Linde Group policies.

  • Maintain effective relationships with government authorities, trade associations, and local communities to uphold company reputation and compliance obligations. Arrange business appointments as and when required.

  • Ensure administrative and operational support to the Managing Director’s office.

  • Negotiate with Collective Bargaining Agents (CBA) / Union on local issues to maintain congenial industrial relations at sites; Support the Head of HR in negotiating and implementing Long-Term Agreements (LTA) and coordinate with local committees for industrial harmony

  • Ensure workplace safety and security in line with company standards and legal requirements; conduct regular inspections for safety, housekeeping, hygiene, and compliance.

  • Coordinate safety awareness programs, training, fire drills, and emergency response exercises in collaboration with the SHEQ team.

  • Oversee security arrangements at corporate and all locations; strengthen protocols to safeguard assets, people, and property.

  • Monitor legal matters, liaise with legal advisers, and maintain accurate databases of contracts and compliance documents. Manage land and regulatory affairs, ensuring timely renewal of government licenses and statutory payments.

  • Coordinate internal and external communications, including newsletters, media engagement, and social media updates, maintaining liaison with the Linde South Asia Communications Team.

  • Organize corporate events and engagement programs that enhance employee connection, collaboration, and organizational culture.

  • Manage corporate travel, logistics, and protocol services for local and international visitors, including visa processing, ticketing, accommodation, and coordination.

  • Oversee outsourced services (canteen, reception, transport, dispatch, cleaning, and security) ensuring quality and cost efficiency.

  • Lead CSR initiatives, internal communication campaigns, and external engagement programs to reinforce company values and social responsibility.

  • Ensure strict compliance with Bangladesh Labour Laws, safety standards, and corporate governance practices.
