Responsibilities & Context:
Manage day-to-day accounting operations including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Cash Book, Bank Book, and Journal Entries.
Prepare, verify, and maintain financial records, vouchers, invoices, payment schedules, and supporting documents.
Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, management reports, and MIS reports.
Monitor cash flow, fund management, and banking transactions to ensure smooth business operations.
Prepare bank reconciliation statements and maintain proper coordination with banks and financial institutions.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and cost control activities.
Monitor receivables and payables to ensure timely collection and vendor payments.
Maintain fixed asset registers and oversee asset accounting and depreciation schedules.
Coordinate with external auditors, internal auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities during audits and compliance reviews.
Ensure compliance with applicable VAT, TAX, AIT, TDS, and other statutory financial regulations.
Prepare and submit VAT returns, tax schedules, withholding tax reports, and other regulatory documentation.
Support management in financial analysis, profitability assessment, project costing, budget control, and business decision-making.
Ensure proper implementation and utilization of ERP-based Accounting and Finance modules.
Manage payroll administration and ensure timely and accurate salary processing through the ERP system.
Ensure compliance with HR policies, Bangladesh Labor Act 2006, Labor Rules 2015, and other applicable employment laws.
Maintain and update HR databases, employee records, personal files, service books, and HRIS systems.
Develop and review HR policies, job descriptions, organizational structures, and manpower plans based on business objectives.
Assist in recruitment and selection activities including manpower planning, job posting, CV screening, interviewing, reference checking, and onboarding.
Conduct employee orientation, induction programs, and probation confirmation processes.
Develop and implement performance management systems, KPI frameworks, and employee appraisal processes.
Conduct employee counseling, grievance handling, disciplinary procedures, and conflict resolution activities.
Coordinate training needs assessments and implement employee learning and development programs.
Conduct employee exit interviews and recommend retention improvement strategies.
Promote employer branding initiatives to strengthen organizational culture and employee engagement.
Prepare HR reports, workforce analytics, and management information for strategic decision-making.
Oversee overall administrative operations, office facilities, transportation, security, housekeeping, and utility management.
Ensure a healthy, safe, secure, and employee-friendly workplace environment.
Manage office assets, inventory, procurement coordination, and vendor management activities.
Supervise office support staff and ensure smooth day-to-day administrative operations.
Maintain statutory registers, licenses, permits, and company records as required by law.
Liaise with government agencies, regulatory authorities, labor offices, labor courts, police stations, RJSC, tax offices, and other external stakeholders when required.
Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, corporate governance standards, and regulatory requirements.
Support management in policy development, process improvement, organizational restructuring, and strategic initiatives.
Monitor attendance, leave records, overtime sheets, shift schedules, and employee movement records.
Ensure accurate maintenance of attendance reports, leave balances, and employee documentation.
Verify attendance data for payroll processing and statutory compliance purposes.
Maintain employee records and confidential HR documentation with accuracy and integrity.
Ensure effective use of ERP software for HR, Payroll, Attendance, Leave, Accounts, Finance, and Administration functions.
Participate in process automation initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
Generate ERP-based reports and dashboards to support management decision-making.
Recommend operational improvements to enhance efficiency, compliance, and organizational performance.
Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by Management from time to time.
Support organizational goals and contribute to overall business growth, compliance, and operational excellence.
