Job Responsibilities:
∎ Who drives customers and ensures growth. He coordinates overseas hubs to ensure smooth delivery to the final destination. An Assistant Air Freight Manager's work involves managing effective relationships with airlines and other vendors.
∎ Key Responsibilities:
∎ Coordinate all Air Export Freight activities, including quotation, booking, documentation, data entry, shipment tracking and tracing, billing, and arranging deliveries, among other responsibilities.
∎ Issue bills and invoices to clients and agents and organize documentation and properly keep all records updated.
∎ Communicate daily with airlines, vendors, truckers, customers, warehouse contact, sales representatives, and overseas offices.
∎ Knowledge of air carriers and schedules.
∎ Comply with all customs, IATA, and Transport regulations and requirements.
∎ Issue IATA reports as required.
∎ Verify weights and dimensions of cargo.
∎ Advise clients concerning terms of delivery & payment, Air Services, transport alternatives, etc.
∎ Handle requirements for dangerous or controlled goods and ensure to have proper export-controlled permits, licenses, etc.
∎ Report to air freight Manager Monthly Performance P/L.
∎ Provide Sales lead for Air freight Manager.
∎ Follow up quotations with the clients.
∎ Check the payable invoice before sending it to the accounting department.
∎ Ensures all documentation, such as invoices, AWB, and other related documents for outbound /inbound shipments is completed accurately and forwarded to the appropriate party.
∎ Maintenance of CRM system, input client's data, keep updates.
