• Master of Commerce (MCom) in Accounting
• Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting
• Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Accounting

• 3 to 6 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (FMCG), Pharmaceutical/Medicine Companies, Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM), Group of Companies, Dairy

• Age 27 to 40 years

-Partly qualified/ongoing professional degree in CA (CC completed), or CMA, will be given preference.
-Minimum 3 to 5 years of practical experience in accounting and financial reporting.
-Experience in manufacturing or trading industries will be highly preferred.
-Must have prior experience in preparing audited or tax-compliant financial statements.
-Strong knowledge of IAS/IFRS, Bangladesh Income Tax, and VAT laws.
-Excellent command over accounting software/ERP (Tally or similar).

1. Financial Statement Preparation

• Prepare full sets of financial statements — Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement, and Notes with schedules — in accordance with applicable accounting standards (IAS/IFRS).

• Ensure proper year-end closing, ledger scrutiny, and account reconciliations for all business units.

• Verify accuracy of supporting documentation, adjustments, and accruals.

2. Tax Compliance & Reporting

• Ensure full tax compliance of the financial statements in line with the Bangladesh Income Tax Act, 2023, and other regulatory requirements.

• Prepare tax-adjusted financials including depreciation schedules, disallowable expense adjustments, and provision for income tax.

• Maintain and reconcile advance tax, withholding tax, and VAT ledgers.

• Assist in preparing the annual tax return package and relevant schedules for submission.

3. Audit Coordination

• Coordinate with statutory auditors for annual audit requirements.

• Provide complete supporting documentation and respond promptly to auditor queries.

• Ensure the audit process is completed smoothly and within deadline.

• Implement and follow up on auditor’s recommendations and compliance issues.

4. Internal Control & Compliance

• Maintain compliance with company policies, internal control systems, and standard accounting procedures.

• Ensure timely recording and reporting of all financial transactions.

• Support the development and implementation of accounting policies and systems improvement.

5. Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial summaries and analytical reports.

• Support management with variance analysis, cost reviews, and financial insights.
