- Practical experience in an EPZ-based export-oriented manufacturing company is strongly preferred.
- Experience in Customs Bond management, import-export permits and customs audits will be an advantage.
- Experience in garments, textiles, footwear, wigs or other export manufacturing industries is acceptable.
Required Skills
- Strong practical knowledge of Bangladesh EPZ import-export procedures.
- Familiarity with Customs Bond regulations and related documentation.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and email communication.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with different departments and external authorities.
- Strong problem-solving skills, professional integrity and a responsible working attitude.

Responsibilities & Context:
MGL BD Company Ltd. is a 100% export-oriented manufacturer of synthetic and human hair products, including wigs and related hair products, located in Ishwardi Export Processing Zone, Bangladesh.
We are seeking an experienced and responsible Senior Commercial Officer with strong practical knowledge of EPZ import-export operations and Customs Bond compliance.
Reporting To: Commercial Manager
Job Location: Ishwardi Export Processing Zone (IEPZ), Bangladesh
Key Responsibilities
- Independently prepare and process import and export documentation, including BEPZA Import Permits (IP), Export Permits (EP), invoices, packing lists, shipping documents and related approvals.
- Coordinate with Customs, BEPZA, C&F agents, freight forwarders, shipping lines and banks to ensure timely import clearance and export shipments.
- Assist the Commercial Manager in d Licence renewal, bonded import records, consumption statements, annual Customs audits and compliance documentation.
- Verify import-export records against bonded warehouse data and identify discrepancies requiring correction or further investigation.
- Monitor import entitlements, temporary duty-free import permissions and related compliance requirements under the guidance of the Commercial Manager.
- Coordinate export shipment bookings, cargo handover, shipping documentation and related banking requirements.
- Follow up on customs clearance delays, documentation discrepancies and other operational problems, taking proactive action to resolve them.
- Maintain accurate records and provide clear weekly and monthly progress reports.
