Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor degree in any discipline
∎ Technical equipment training.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conduct strategic planning with Security Manager/Security Coordinator to comply with all the technical components of Office of Corporate Security's Core Security Requirements
∎ Develop and provide security training to staff related to safety and security equipment
∎ Implement and maintain requisite staff and fleet tracking equipment
∎ Contribute to and develop appropriate policies, plans, protocols and guidelines for use of all WVB safety and security equipment
∎ Maintain close contact and liaise with other UN and NGO personnel overseeing their safety and security equipment
∎ Liaise with safety and security equipment vendors to keep WV BCRC Security Department current on safety and security equipment trends
∎ Develop and implement the Response Operations security strategy in alignment with WV security policies and procedures to ensure the operational priorities of the Response Operation are appropriately supported.
∎ Ensure Security Risk Assessments, Country Risk Ratings and Core Security Requirement standards, processes and procedures are completed in accordance with current Office of Corporate Security guidelines.
∎ Standards of CSR’s must be reviewed as prescribed according to the risk rating.
∎ Support the Response operation and program managers in carrying out HISSCAM assessments to ensure Civ-Mil relationship between the Response Operation and armed actors in the environment does not impact on the safety and security of staff or WV profile management in the community.
∎ Develop effective contingency and response plans to mitigate the impact of any critical security incident on WV staff, assets and operation in the response area.
∎ Build and maintain operational and strategic level coordination and liaison mechanisms with WV stakeholders and partners in the operational areas in host and camp.
∎ Provide regular security reports.
∎ Ensure all security incidents are reported in accordance with WV Security Policies.
∎ Conduct performance reviews of the RSC and security focal persons.
∎ Collect, analyze and disseminate security information appropriately.
∎ Assess, develop and implement the Response Operation safety and security management capacity building plans based on local security risk assessments.
∎ Mentor and coach the Response Operations Security team (RSC) towards capacity enhancement

Additional Requirements:
∎ Understand security issues and needs through military, law enforcement or security professional experience.
∎ Hands on proficiency dealing with technical equipment (i.e., computers, vhf radios, automobile maintenance, etc.)
∎ Training and Facilitation skills.
∎ Proven leadership ability.
∎ Good time management and organizing skills.
∎ Proven experience as a team player.
∎ Demonstrated collaboration skills.
∎ Competent in the use of Microsoft Office computer programs including Word, Excel and PowerPoint with Internet Browsing Skill.
∎ Minimum of 3 years experiences in a similar security field.
∎ 50% Work travel is expected to Field Offices
∎ The position requires the holder to be able to undertake tasks at short notice with due regard to the security environment
∎ The position requires the holder to be able to work effectively and efficiently unsupervised and plan and manage time effectively.
∎ The holder must exercise a strong work ethic and take responsibility for his/her own actions.
