Job Responsibilities:
∎ To establish high level security & communication system of RDRS Bangladesh, Rangpur Office and as well as all unit offices, the major job responsibilities of Security Officer will be as follows:
∎ Establish and manage all security aspects of RDRS Rangpur office as well as all unit offices;
∎ Train other security team members and monitor their activities to minimize all risks relating to security of properties, employees of the organization and third parties;
∎ Introduce modern security devices to monitor the movements of persons and goods all times;
∎ Ensure the Security team members are performing duties sincerely, smartly and delicately;
∎ Liaison with the emergency services, police, ambulance and fire service to resolve issues and maintain security and service;
∎ Pro-actively ensure the protection of property and assets;
∎ Create a safe and comfortable working environment for employees and visitors;
∎ Respond to emergency situations as they arise;
∎ Make sure that no unauthorized personnel enter reserved organizations areas;
∎ Accurately report all incidents to the Management;
∎ Any other task assigned by the Management time to time.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Ideal candidate should be a retired armed force personnel/ BGD/ BDR/ Warrent Officer.
∎ Excellent leadership, and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and lead a team security guards are the key competencies sought.
∎ Past experience & knowledge in handling CCTV systems, security alarm systems, access control systems, fire detection & alarm systems, fire suppression equipment and any other electronic systems will be a definite advantage.

The vast majority of staff are in field positions, with specialist sectoral and support units in Rangpur and Dhaka.
