Competencies Required:
Command & Control: Proven ability to lead and motivate a large, disciplined force.
Conflict Resolution: Strong negotiation skills to handle local site-level "pressure groups" or external threats.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to anticipate threats before they manifest.
Tech Savvy: Familiarity with modern surveillance tech and security software.
Responsibilities & Context:
Conduct comprehensive security audits of all project sites (ongoing construction and completed properties) to identify vulnerabilities & risk assessment.
Design and implement Group-wide security SOPs, including emergency response, evacuation plans, and fire safety protocols.
Oversee the deployment and maintenance of IP-based CCTV surveillance, access control systems, and perimeter intrusion detection.
Supervise a large internal security team and manage relationships with external security service providers (outsource agencies).
Conduct regular drills and training sessions for security personnel, threat detection, and soft skills (for front-desk security).
Ensure strict military-grade discipline among the staff, conducting inquiries into any security breaches or misconduct.
Implement specialized security measures for high-value construction materials and machinery on-site.
Work closely with the Land and Legal departments to prevent unauthorized occupation or trespassing on company-owned land.
Monitor and manage security during potential labor disputes or site-level unrest to ensure project continuity.
Maintain a strong network and act as the primary liaison with local Police stations, RAB, and intelligence agencies.
