Job Context:
∎ Assignment:
∎ The REACH Security Assistant is responsible for accompanying male and female enumerators to households that require assessment in sites where REACH is operating, in order to support the smooth and effective information flow between the household and the REACH Enumerators.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Functions:
∎ The REACH Security Assistant will function under the supervision of the REACH Field Manager / Coordinator and the Assessment Team Leader, and is responsible for completing the following tasks:
∎
∎ Accompany one male/female enumerator in the camps as he/she collects household-level data, ensuring a safe and comfortable working environment.
∎ Support with any security issues affecting the enumerator team in the field.
∎ Be polite and respectful at all times to refugees, military personnel, humanitarian partners, REACH staff, and all other stakeholders.
∎ Ensure all security issues in the field or elsewhere are immediately brought to the attention of the Team Leader.
∎ Any other duties as required to support the smooth of running of REACH activities.
∎ While enumerators will be going to collect the data, security assistants will need to stay with the enumerators outside of the shelter or they can take permission and sit with the enumerator. The security assistants cannot leave the enumerator.
Salary:
∎ Per day 900 BDT (inclusive of health insurance).
