Job Context:
∎ Al-Karim General Hospital is one of the prominent in healthcare sector of Bangladesh. We are inviting applications for eligible candidate for the following position:
∎ Job Location: Dhaka (Saydabad)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Under guidance of Pharmacy Assistant, he will assist in medicine sales and stock management.
∎ Ensure medicine dispatching according to guidelines and prescription of the doctors
∎ Keep records for medicine consumption and update registers regularly
∎ Maintain proper temperature and humidity for medicine warehouse/store
∎ Assist in ensuring Quality Assurance in medicinal and supply management
∎ Assist in producing procurement request with assistance of the Pharmacy Assistant in maintaining buffer stocks
∎ Ensure availability of doctor's prescription.
∎ Ensure advance requisition to avoid cash purchase.
∎ Take timely measures to avoid stock-out and expiry of medicines and supplies
∎ Maintain register, data entry into database, records of medicine consumption and stocks.
∎ Keep records of refrigerator temperature twice daily and maintain cold chain for medicines/vaccines as appropriate
∎ Assist in preparing pharmaceutical inventory for supplies and maintain the stock list
∎ Support on daily checking on the medicine quality and quantity stored in the warehouse and report accordingly if any.
∎ Support disposal of the expired/impaired medical commodities.
∎ Support mid and end of the year fiscal stock count.
∎ Maintain hygiene and cleanliness of the pharmacy.
∎ Support monthly spot check of the pharmacy.
∎ Assist in the periodic checking on the warehouse assets: fridges, solar fridges, ceiling fans, ACs, thermometers, hygrometers and fire extinguishers to make sure it is working properly and report accordingly if any issue.
∎ Support in preparation the items for donations for the IOM partners
∎ Strictly follow DGHS and IOM standards with respect to customer-friendly services, confidentialities of medical information, ethical standards and healthy working environment.
∎ Participating in field missions out of duty station when/where required.
∎ Any related additional job responsibilities given by top management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 28 to 35 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ At least three (3) years' experience in health set up and dispensing work.
∎ Knowledge and experience with working in the field and medical emergency will be added as advantage.
∎ Proficient in common Microsoft software such World and Excel.
∎ Possess customer-handling techniques.
∎ Comfortable in dealing with all levels of people.
∎ Actively participate as a team player to ensure unit cohesion.
∎ Maintain office ethics, etiquette, and code of conduct.
∎ Able to use appropriate choice of words and actions when dealing with both internal and external clients.
