Job Responsibilities:
∎ The sales Officer will generate revenue through selling various tools like on air promotions, radio advertising packages and sponsorships of programs.
∎ He/she will handle client accounts at commercial radio stations and works to develop new accounts
∎ Execute assistance functions in a radio sales department by being a team player.
∎ Aware about the Sales targets and dedicated to achieve/exceed it.
∎ Assist in capturing sponsorship proposals by communicating with different Brands/Corporates.
∎ Knows about the products i.e. events, programs & news to present to the clients for sell.
∎ As per supervisor's instruction, make the Sales proposal in the most convincing manner and present to persuade the client.
∎ Regular visit to the client, close the deal in a professional timely manner.
∎ Establish personal as well as professional network; make the best use in bring sponsorship for the company.
∎ Track clients, keep records with proper documentation, follow-up clients on regular interval.
∎ Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly & yearly target of own in balance with the department.
∎ Prepare for sales meetings both internal & external to present the updates and sales reports with clarity and classification.
∎ Manage customer databases with customers' needs and objectives. Segment clients with proper classification.
∎ Coordinate on-location radio advertising promotions.
∎ Adhere and comply with the corporate rules and regulations.
∎ Establishes and adjusts content sales prices by monitoring costs, competition, supply & demand.
∎ Maintain Sales compliance of the company as per regulatory guideline, Govern. Body and authorities.
∎ Finding the advertising or sponsorship opportunities and ensuring that brands are a good fit with the listeners or the style of different shows.
∎ Good communication with Accounts department for accounts receivable recovery and revenue generation calculation.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 28 to 38 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ The Sales Officer must have knowledge regarding "Media" sales
∎ The Incumbent must have in-depth knowledge on corporate sales, customer pitching, alternative channel generation, pricing strategy, media industry, negotiation and persuasion.
∎ Target oriented person with a mindset of achievement.
∎ Must have a "Can-do" attitude or determination of winning.
∎ Always keep good communication with all departments specially with Program department and News Department to identify events to sell.
∎ Understand the Brand value of "Radio Today" and uplift it to the audience while making promotion.
