Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sales and Merchandising Manager with a strong background in garment manufacturing, particularly outerwear items.
The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of sales strategies, merchandising, and an understanding of garment costing and pricing.
This role requires close collaboration with production and design teams to ensure alignment with market demands while managing client relationships effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Buyer Relations:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing buyers while identifying new business opportunities to expand the client base.
Communicate regularly with buyers, addressing their needs and queries related to products and orders.
Assist buyers with product selection and presentation to meet market trends and requirements
Costing & Quotations:
Accurately calculate product costs for outerwear items, ensuring competitive and timely quotations for buyers.
Analyze market trends, production costs, and other factors to align pricing strategies with company objectives.
Merchandising & Product Development:
Work closely with the design and production teams to ensure products are aligned with market trends and buyer preferences.
Collaborate on the development of marketing materials and sales tools to showcase product advantages.Monitor industry trends and buyer demands to recommend product improvements and new developments.
Market Research & Product Positioning:
Conduct detailed market analysis to anticipate buyer preferences and upcoming trends.
Utilize research to inform product offerings and sales strategies.
Position products effectively in the marketplace to increase visibility and appeal.
Communication & Reporting:
Coordinate between buyers, production, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth order processing and timely deliveries.
Prepare regular reports on sales performance, buyer interactions, and quotation activities for senior management.
