Responsibilities & Context:

• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for the company’s food products.

• Develop new customers, distributors, dealers, retailers, wholesalers, and institutional buyers.

• Manage and strengthen relationships with existing customers and business partners.

• Conduct regular market visits to identify sales opportunities and monitor competitor activities, pricing, and product availability.

• Promote company products and ensure proper product presentation, merchandising, and market coverage.

• Collect customer orders and coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Distribution, and Logistics teams for timely delivery.

• Monitor product stock, expiry dates, market returns, and customer feedback.

• Follow up on customer payments and outstanding accounts in coordination with the Finance team.

• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and product-related issues professionally and promptly.

• Support new product launches, promotional campaigns, trade promotions, exhibitions, and other marketing activities.

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports, forecasts, market updates, and customer information.

• Monitor sales performance, identify gaps against targets, and implement corrective actions.

• Gather market intelligence on competitors, consumer preferences, pricing, and emerging market opportunities.

• Maintain strong coordination with Production and Quality teams to communicate market requirements and product feedback.

• Ensure compliance with company sales policies, food-product handling requirements, and ethical business practices.

• Expand market coverage and contribute to sales growth, customer retention, brand development, and overall business profitability.
