Job Context:
∎ Maheen Accessories Ltd. is looking for a self-motivated, pro-active, and innovative and result oriented team member in the position of Safety & Security Officer who will add value to administer security operations in different work units of the organization.
∎ This position will report to the Head of Administration of the organization. However, on emergency cases take prompt action informing the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the organization as deemed necessary. The "Safety & Security Officer" position requires to analyze various standards of Safety & Security operation programs, recruit and select security personnel, manage field operations, perform risk assessments to manage & implementation of safe environment in the organization for both visitors and employees.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop and execute a comprehensive security and fire safety strategy aligned with organizational goals and industry best practices.
∎ Assist to assess risk and safety hazards of organization's offices local security situation.
∎ Assist to conduct investigations of incidents to find out the fact and root cause, analysis and solve incident.
∎ Assist in analyzing and evaluating security operations to identify risks or opportunities for improvement through auditing, review, or assessment.
∎ Oversee day-to-day security operations, CCTV surveillance, security patrols, and incident response.
∎ Develop and maintain emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures, crisis communication protocols, and first-aid training.
∎ Ensure compliance with fire safety regulations, conducting regular inspections and coordinating necessary improvements.
∎ Implement security and fire safety training programs for employees.
∎ Manage relationships with fire safety equipment suppliers, and other relevant vendors.
∎ Lead investigations into security breaches, accidents, and incidents, and recommend corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
∎ Develop and manage the security and fire safety budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources.
∎ Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on security and fire safety performance, incidents, and improvements.
∎ Assist to implement security protocols and ensure safety of all office premises, monitor and confirm security guard's operation.
∎ Assist to ensure the operational priorities such as conduct fire safety drill periodically, avoid theft, risk mitigation in all business concern of the organization.
∎ Carry out periodical visit in all the premises including night time to identify the security lapses and advise remedial measures accordingly.
∎ Assist to recruit and train security guards, evaluate their performance and ensure discipline of the department.
∎ Assist to implement suitable safety & security policy and procedures, codes and guidelines for the department of Safety & Security.
∎ Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence.
∎ Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people in the factory area.
∎ Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the factory area.
∎ Check surveillance cameras periodically to identify disruptions or unlawful acts.
∎ Investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions.
∎ Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ At least 10 years' relevant experience in Safety & Security department of a reputed organization. Non commissioned army officers will get preferences. Preferences will be also given to the candidates with work experience in security forces. Experience in international organization in security duties is a plus.
∎ Knowledge on security management, fire safety regulations, and best practices.
∎ Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety.
∎ Familiarity with report writing.
∎ Excellent surveillance and observation skills.
∎ Experience in investigation of incidents is desirable.
∎ Candidate should have knowledge on security gadgets like radio set, metal detective devices, CCTV security system, metal archway etc.
∎ Strong communication & leadership skills.
∎ Trained in first aid and self-defense.
∎ Good knowledge on security management and hazards.
∎ Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively.
∎ Certification in security or fire safety is a plus.
∎ Competent computer user, especially MS word.
∎ Physically fit.
