Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Lead and manage the regional sales team to achieve daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for animal feed products.
∎ Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with company goals, including preparing budgets and monitoring expenditures.
∎ Monitor and evaluate the daily activities of the sales team as per pre-scheduled visits to ensure effective field performance.
∎ Analyze competitor activities and market trends to adapt strategies for increasing market share.
∎ Supervise and guide the sales force to enhance productivity and meet regional objectives.
∎ Prepare annual sales budgets while maintaining budgetary control over expenses.
∎ Manage credit allocation, ensure proper credit disbursement against sales, and oversee credit recovery processes.
∎ Reduce market returns while optimizing cost-efficiency for regional operations.
∎ Organize regular regional sales review meetings to assess performance and set actionable goals.
∎ Collaborate with the marketing department to design and implement promotional strategies that drive sales growth.
∎ Explore new markets and channels by leveraging market intelligence reports and conducting market visits.
∎ Evaluate team performance regularly, identify areas for improvement, and initiate training or corrective measures as needed.
