Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Social Science (MSS)
∎ Master's degree in English, or a subject from Social Science discipline (e.g. Economics/Sociology/Development Studies/Public Administration/International Relations/Mass Communications etc.), Statistics, or Agricultural Science, etc.,
∎ Degree should be obtained from public university. However, applicant completed education from BRAC University, North South University, East West University, ASTU will be eligible to apply.
∎ Candidates with a 3rd Division or a CGPA of less than 2.5 on a scale of 4, or 3 on a scale of 5 at any stage of their education need not apply.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Contribute to developing/writing research concepts, methodologies;
∎ Assist in development of proposal documents soliciting on research grant proposals;
∎ Write reports and/or contribute to report writing in Bangla and English, prepare and make presentations of research findings;
∎ Contribute to writing project proposal;
∎ Attended various meetings/workshops/seminars/symposiums to represent Samahar Consultant's Ltd. and paper/key note presentation;
∎ The position is Dhaka-based. However, the Research Associate must have no unwillingness to undertake frequent research-related field visits as needed; and
∎ Overall coordination of project activities;
∎ Perform any other relevant task assigned by the Samahar Consultant's Ltd.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 50 years
∎ Skills Required: Project proposal writing, Report Writing in Bangla and English.
∎ Experience required at least 05 year but the condition of experience may be relaxed in the case of applicants, who are proficient in speaking and writing English.
