∎ Master's in Mass Communications, Journalism, English or relevant fields.

∎ At least 7 year(s)
Job Context:
∎ Department: Myanmar Refugee Relief Operation (MRRO) under Disaster Response Department
∎ Reportable to: Programme Manager, MRRO, Cox`s Bazar in close coordination with Deputy Director, Communication, NHQ, Dhaka
∎ Contract length: Up to 31 December 2021 with possible extension based on project funding availability.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Seven years relevant working experience. S/he should have an extensive experience in communication and diffusion strategies and techniques, reporting, documentation, publication, and audio-visual material preparation in relation to conservation and development fields.
∎ S/he should possess excellent writing, editing, and speaking skills in both English and Bangla.
∎ S/he should be well versed in the latest electronic publishing and graphics methods.
∎ S/he must be well versed in MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Bangla (Bijoy) and English language typing.
∎ S/he must be fluent in both spoken and written Bangla and English languages.
∎ Competencies in communication, professional mastery, analytical skills, teamwork, ability to think strategically and able to communicate and negotiate with wide range of people and organizations.
∎ Strong organizational skills, methodological and logical approach to tasks and problem solving.
∎ Excellent skills in all areas of English, especially writing, including strong drafting skills
∎ Good presentation, facilitation and note-taking skills.
∎ Ability to organize, analyses and synthesize large amounts of information.
∎ Demonstrated ability to promote collaboration.
∎ Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
∎ Establish and ensure effective working relationships with in BDRCS MRRO staff;
∎ Ensure effective working relationships with BDRCS, UNHCR and leadership.
∎ Age limit will be relaxed in case of potential candidate
Salary:
∎ Negotiable
∎ Upto BDT. 80,000/-
