Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Coordinate with the UNHCR Registration team to implement registration project activities as plan 2025.
∎ Manage and coordinate projects related to the establishment or improvement of Registration centers,
∎ Support the registration interviews for refugees/FDMNs and record information collected into UNHCR ProGres and the Biometrics Identity Management System (BIMS) databases, including biodata, photographs, biometrics, and specific needs according to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
∎ Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with relevant stakeholders,
∎ Support in related registration processes, including scheduling, ushering, reception,
∎ Oversee the repair works of facilities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations,
∎ Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and implement solutions to ensure timely completion,
∎ Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure quality standards are met,
∎ Prepare reports, documentation, and presentations on project status and outcomes,
∎ Liaise with government agencies, community partners, and internal teams to facilitate project communication and alignment
∎ Participate to internal meetings, outside meetings, and weekly meetings with UNHCR.
∎ Ensuring that the facility remains clean, sanitary, and well-organized.

∎ The Red Cross Red Crescent movement is the largest volunteer organization in the world. The Bangladesh Red Crescent Society (BDRCS) is a national society of the movement, constituted on 31 March 1973 by the President's Order No. 26 of 1973 with retrospective effect from 16 December 1971. This is the biggest humanitarian organization in Bangladesh. As an auxiliary to the government, the Society provides humanitarian assistance to the vulnerable people over the last 48 years and has undertaken a wide range of activities in humanitarian response, disaster management, health, capacity building and in promoting Red Cross/ Red Crescent ideals and principles.
∎ Bangladesh Red Crescent Society is looking for a suitable Bangladeshi national for the following position under Myanmar Refugee Relief Operations (MRRO) at Cox’s Bazar:
∎ Project Name : Myanmar Refugee Relief Operations (MRRO), Cox’s Bazar
∎ Duration of Contract : Up to 31 December 2025 (extendable)

∎ Job Purpose
∎ Registration is a key activity to ensure proper records of all persons of concern. The registration of the Rohingya is conducted jointly by the Government of Bangladesh and UNHCR, supported by BDRCS through its various operational facilities and competencies. In response to the increased demand for registration activities for verification of the Registered Refugees in the Registered camps in Kutupalong and Nayapara and the continuous registration of the Rohingya population in thirty-one camps in Cox’s Bazar district and Bhasan Char, BDRCS expanded its operations with approval from UNHCR. This expansion involved hiring a Registration Officer, FRA, enumerators, and Rohingya semi-skilled volunteers, acquiring office supplies, renting micro cars, and covering other associated expenses. Under the direct supervision of the Programme Manager, the Registration Officer will be responsible for overall responsible of the Registration project activities of Myanmar Refugee Relief Operations (MRRO) of BDRCS. The position will work closely with the UNHCR, the Refugee Relief and Repatriation Commissioner (RRRC) Registration team and MRRO management at Cox’s Bazar.
∎ Position Summary: The Registration Officer will provide direction and guidance to Facility management in the interpretation and application of relevant registration laws, regulations, policies, practices and procedures. Supervise and manage a team of data entry staff, providing training, guidance, and support as needed. Develop and implement efficient data entry processes and procedures to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks. Assisting the Registration team of UNHCR and RRRC and MRRO with the collection of all information and data collected, documented, and reported in a timely manner for UNHCR and internal purposes of BDRCS. The Registration Officer is responsible to produce the periodic reports on Myanmar Refugee Relief Operation (MRRO) in Cox's Bazar for project management team. The Registration Officer will support programme manager and other MRRO personnel to follow good practices in PSEA implementation, while the final responsibility for institutional PSEA efforts lies with the BDRCS Management.
