Educational Requirements:
∎ The Candidate must have a Master Degree in any subject /discipline from a reputed University with at least 2nd Division/Class/equivalent at all levels of education. M. Phil/Ph. D degree will be preferable.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 15 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Coordinate among the senior, mid and bottom level management of the University.
∎ Ensure discipline in the administration under the guidance of the Vice-Chancellor.
∎ Communicate with the regulatory bodies such as: Ministry of Education, UGC, Bangladesh Bar Council, Association of Private University (APUB), University Act 1992, amended in 2010, Bangladesh Pharmacy Council, Bangladesh Computer Council etc. and perform related affairs.
∎ Organize and facilitate different meeting, such as, Academic Council, Syndicate, Disciplinary Committee and others.
∎ Serve as the primary institutional manager of student-record information, with responsibility for providing data and analysis to academic and administrative offices concerned with educational policy, curricula, academic performance, and strategic planning, while ensuring the integrity of academic records.
∎ Direct the effective service to students and faculty as it pertains to registration, and grade-recording, ensuring sufficient numbers of and training for staff.
∎ Keep and maintain all the files and record of the administrative files of the university as well as personal files of the employees.
∎ Prepare the reports required by different regulatory authorities for compliance.
∎ Coordinate updates and modifications to the student information system related to registration, advisement, academic records, and course entry.
∎ Direct the preparation and distribution of the academic catalog, the dissemination of student and faculty related course information, the entry of academic year course scheduling in the Student Information System, the preparation and distribution of course and final exam schedules, the preparation of enrollment-related reports.
∎ Work with the concerned with enrollment management, financial aid, student admissions, retention, and student services, to coordinate services, activities, and projects.
∎ Manages the fiscal affairs of the department, including budget development and priorities, exercises direct fiscal control over the approved budget.
∎ Direct the activities of clerical staff, determines major personal decision including staffing needs, such as hiring and firing, supervising the selection, training and evaluation of staff.
∎ Must have experience working directly with top management and dealing with government offices for estate matters and legal issues.
∎ Must be conversant with the Private University Act.
∎ Must be apt in computer literacy and software handling.
∎ Perform any other jobs for the betterment of the University as and when directed by the top authority of the university.
∎ Exceptionally qualified/experienced candidates will get preference.
Additional Requirements:
∎ The Candidate must have administrative /similar experience of 15 (fifteen) years with at least 05 (five) years as Deputy Registrar/equivalent position in any University/equivalent educational Institute
