Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage crises effectively.        

  • Sound knowledge of healthcare laws, hospital accreditation, and compliance standards.        

  • Proven record of team building and inter-departmental coordination.        

  • Computer literacy in MS Office, EMR/HMS software, and report preparation.        

  • Must have strong ethical standards and a patient-centered approach.        

  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in large private/teaching hospitals.



Responsibilities & Context:
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for all medical services of the hospital.

  • Oversee planning, development, and implementation of healthcare policies and programs.

  • Ensure high-quality patient care, clinical governance, and compliance with medical standards.

  • Supervise and coordinate with doctors, consultants, nurses, and allied health professionals.

  • Monitor and evaluate hospital services to improve operational efficiency and patient satisfaction.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies such as BMDC, DGHS, and Ministry of Health guidelines.

  • Manage departmental budgets, resources, and manpower allocation effectively.

  • Develop training and capacity-building programs for medical and paramedical staff.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, research, and innovation in healthcare services.

  • Report directly to the Managing Director/Trust authorities on service quality and performance.
