Job Context:
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to drive sales growth and expand market share within an assigned region. The incumbent will lead and manage a team of Medical Promotion Officers (MPO) and Area/Assistant Field Managers (AFM), build strong relationships with healthcare professionals, and ensure strict compliance with company policies and pharmaceutical regulations.
The ideal candidate will be strategic, performance-driven, and capable of delivering sustainable business growth while maintaining high ethical standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Performance Management
Achieve regional sales targets and expand market share
Monitor and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Identify performance gaps and implement corrective action plans
Conduct regular field visits and market evaluations
Team Leadership & Development
Lead, motivate, and guide AFM and MPO teams
Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback
Recruit, train, and develop regional sales personnel
Arrange and conduct training and development programs
Compliance & Operational Oversight
Ensure adherence to company policies and pharmaceutical regulations
Maintain operational discipline and ethical standards across the region
Oversee quality control and proper execution of promotional strategies
Budget & Resource Management
Prepare and manage regional budgets
Monitor expenses and ensure cost-effective operations
Market & Strategic Planning
Conduct market analysis and competitor monitoring
Develop and implement long-term regional sales strategies
Identify new business opportunities and expansion areas
