Responsibilities of an Export Manager (Pharmaceutical Company):
1. Achieve export sales targets and business growth.
2. Developed and updated packaging materials (carton, foil, insert, ampoule, tube, and label) in coordination with commercial-approved vendors.
3. Led brand positioning, advertising, product launching, and promotional activities.
4. Monitored market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to formulate strategic marketing plans.
5. Conduct sales meetings, customer engagement, market segmentation, and ensured effective brand positioning.
6. Ensure compliance with international regulatory and DGDA requirements. Prepare and verify export documents (Invoice, Packing List, COA, COPP, LC documents, etc.), and regulatory forms.
7. Developed and maintained relationships with distributors, wholesalers, international partners, and managed export contracts.
8. Prepared export documentation including PI, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin, VAT certificates, and regulatory forms (8A, 9A, 10A).
9. Coordinated with QC/QA, Production, Commercial, PD, Warehouse, DGDA, Logistics, C&F agents, and freight forwarders regarding dossiers, certifications, shipment, and regulatory compliance.
10. Coordinate product registration and regulatory compliance.
11. Monitor export receivables, advance payments, and LC settlements.
12. Identify export opportunities and expand international markets for pharmaceutical products.
13. Conduct market research and handle export orders, pricing, contracts, negotiations, and sales targets.
14. Ensure timely shipment, delivery, payment realization, and LC settlement.
15. Analyze export market trends, competitors, profitability, and customer requirements.
16. Prepare export reports and management updates regularly.
17. Perform additional responsibilities assigned by management.
