Responsibilities & Context:

Plan & Budget:

  • Assist to Prepare and administrator the regional plan and budget

Report preparation:

  • Assist to Prepare, analyze, and interpret financial reports and / or studies.

  • Supervise all financial transactions in software and reports, ensuring financial procedures are followed and that all financial administration has the correct approvals in branch level Coordinate, preparation and dissemination of monthly financial reports, monthly receipts and payments statement and develop and prepare other reports as requested;

  • Prepare and analysis of expenditures and revenue on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis including comment on allocation of funds.

Budgetary control:

  • Review monthly budget requests by departments, region and sub-offices.

  • Execute department financial policies, rules, and regulations.

  • Ensure all statutory returns are paid to the relevant bodies in a timely manner and that all taxation requirements are fulfilled.

  • Assist to undertake yearly performance reviews of accounts and finance staff.

Financial management and accounting:

  • Prepare bank reconciliation statement of region/branch offices.

  • Ensure all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems, ensuring compliance with appropriate Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, regulatory requirements.

  • Prepare and analysis monthly, quarterly and yearly financial statement both regional office and consolidated.

  • To manage staff provident fund and gratuity fund with other relevant works of regional level.

Management information system (MIS):

  • Prepare MIS of region/branch offices.

  • Ensure all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems, ensuring compliance with appropriate Generally Accepted MIS system, regulatory requirements.

  • Prepare and analysis monthly, quarterly and yearly MIS statement both regional office and consolidated also.

HR & PF related work:

  • HR related work from Region’s (Monthly salary, Staff resignation process, staff clearance for final payment, Keep update employee personnel file), Initiate loan application approval process from Provident Fund (when required) and others.

Auditing, monitoring and compliance:

  • Ensure that effective financial systems, processes and monitoring arrangements are in place, both on a general financial level and on specific ones required to monitor/audit individual branch.

  • Regular field visit as and when necessary and requirement in consultation with Regional Manager, Program Coordinator and Line manager.

  • Regular update the day-to-day financial activities of regional office.

  • Any other duties commensurate with the accountability of the post.
