∎ Location: Presently we are 100% virtual (Working from Home) and we will be transition to hybrid work arrangement in the near future (Office in Dhaka, Bangladesh).
Job Responsibilities:
∎ As a Software Tester, your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
∎ As a Software Tester you will be responsible for increasing our test coverage, building and maintaining our test case suites.
∎ Work as a fully engaged member of a SCRUM team, testing stories developed in the sprint.
∎ Support all testing activities related to manual and automation testing of stories developed in the sprint.
∎ Develop product knowledge of the application and use this knowledge to uncover defects and drive up test coverage.
∎ Create and execute test plans consisting of functional, system, regression and integration test suites.
∎ Build and maintain the test case, author test cases for various types of testing that will cover mobile applications, web applications and REST API.
∎ Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to work effectively in a team-oriented collaborative environment.
∎ Perform system level regression testing to ensure product readiness for release cycles.
∎ Work with Product stakeholders and engineers to ensure all the aspects of the application have proper test coverage and overall system reliability, performance and quality standards are met.
∎ If developers are seeking a career change to the QA side, it will be considered acceptable, even if they have less experience. However, they should possess a keen eye for catching corner cases.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 2+ years of work experience in the automated testing domain.
∎ Fluent in English speaking and writing.
∎ Design, develop test cases, analyze test logs, report defects.
∎ Strong problem-solving skills and excellent oral/written communication skills in English.
∎ Experience in testing applications built on architecture supporting cloud computing architecture.
∎ Ability to work quickly and collaboratively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
∎ Experience in communicating with international clients, technical teams, and management.
∎ Understanding of object-oriented programming.
∎ Experienced with JIRA, Git and Bitbucket.
∎ Outstanding Problem solving skills.
∎ Bachelor's Degree in CSE or related field.
∎ Nice-to-have Skills
∎ Experience of QA methodologies in an Agile and Scrum environment.
